my world through a plastic lens

I’m really happy with my first two test rolls from my little Holga – Now that I know what it can do, I’m really looking forward to experimenting with more film! You can see all of the results in my Holga set on Flickr, but here is a sneak peak:

  1. I really like that first photo of the shipyard. I’m glad you’re happy with the Holga. It’s a camera that really started to get me interested in photography. What type of film are you using in it?

  2. Thanks Kraig! I love your Holga photos – beautiful.

These rolls were Kodak TMax400 and Fuji Pro 400x

    These are lovely!

    • thanks, sister! I’m really excited to be experimenting with inexpensive old cameras. We bought a 1980 Minolta tonight for $15. I’m lucky to live with someone who knows all about cameras and developing film.

  4. these are rad. i searched craigslist to no avail, where can i get one of these? i guess i may have to wait for garage sale season…

  5. Try Etsy, Kerria. There are a few on there I think. Also, some of the resources in my post Holga’s sells them new.

  6. These are brilliant, Mog. Haven’t yet jumped on the toy camera wagon, but hope to soon – would love to get out with you and Mat for a photowalk.
